Dory Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: a username and password, plus Apple-provided name and email when supplied during Sign in with Apple.
• Study content: documents and text you submit, imported cards, compatible audio, generated flashcards, and your edits.
• Study activity: review history, scheduling state, card-quality feedback, and subscription status.
• Notifications: notification identifiers and preferences, including your reminder time, if you enable reminders.

Import limits

Import basic card text from compatible .apkg exports. Compatible legacy audio may also import; images and modern media packages are not currently preserved.

How it is used

• Documents and text you submit are sent to Anthropic solely to generate your flashcards.
• Your study data is used only to schedule reviews and show you your own metrics.
• Subscription status is used to process, restore, and enforce your Dory Pro entitlement.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or use cross-app tracking.

Where it lives

Supabase provides authentication, private data, and storage. Vercel hosts Dory and its server functions. Anthropic processes submitted content for AI card generation. RevenueCat and Apple/StoreKit process subscriptions, and APNs delivers optional reminders. Fontshare delivers Dory's display web font and receives standard request metadata when your device requests its stylesheet. Uploaded documents are stored so you can trace cards back to their source.

Your choices

• You can delete decks and cards at any time from within the app.
• You can disable notifications at any time in Settings.
• We retain your data while your account exists. Use Delete account in Profile to permanently delete your account and associated data immediately.
• Deleting your Dory account does not cancel Apple subscriptions. Manage or cancel them in Apple Subscriptions.
